My Story
Young Mothers Positioned for Change is a program I designed with my experiences in mind to help other young mothers reach their full potential through self-reflection and growth. Being a young mother at the tender age of 16 taught me lessons of strength, perseverance, and bravery as I dealt with guilt, shame, and self-condemnation. 
I soon married my high school sweetheart and went on to have three young men who gave me a beautiful reason to be a mom...they were mine. God gave them to me and it was my duty to be the best version of myself so that they could later thrive.
YMPFC offers a chance for young mothers ages 15-30 years of age to meet and engage in insightful discussions that will provide encouragement, build self-esteem, and foster a bond with other mothers, leaving their children with the legacy of a firm foundation of unity and support.
